Ukraine’s General Staff confirmed that Ukrainian forces struck an airbase in Engels and an oil refinery in Saratov Oblast overnight on Aug. 2. Russia’s regional governor said two people were killed and civilian infrastructure was damaged. Ukraine also reported hitting an oil depot in Kaluga Oblast and a drone facility in Bryansk Oblast.
