Experts at a Shanghai conference said China’s stable engraftment rate for cord blood transplants has surpassed 97%. The country’s seven approved cord blood banks hold more than 2.45 million samples and have supported over 50,000 clinical applications, with uses expanding to nearly 80 diseases.
