The Japan Meteorological Agency said Friday morning that the rainy season is believed to have ended in Hokuriku, southern Tohoku and northern Tohoku. This means all of Japan except Hokkaido, which has no rainy season, has entered the post-rainy-season period. Dangerous heat is forecast around Kyushu on Saturday.
