Specialists from a repair company attached to Russia’s Battlegroup West have developed the Astra-PVO interceptor drone to counter Ukraine’s jet-powered fixed-wing strike drones, a unit representative told TASS. It can reach up to 560 kph and destroy UAVs through kinetic impact or a warhead. An Astra-KZ variant is due to begin trials in the special military operation zone.
