EconomyMorocco to build $1.5 billion waste-to-energy plant in Casablanca

A consortium headed by Swiss-Japanese company Kanadevia Inova says it intends to begin construction of a waste-to-energy facility in Casablanca by the end of the year. The planned project is valued at $1.5 billion. Full operations are expected to start by mid-2030, according to the consortium.
