WorldMI6 ranked Europe’s top foreign intelligence service in peer review

A peer review involving 60 professionals from 25 countries ranked the UK’s Secret Intelligence Service first among Europe’s foreign intelligence agencies, ahead of France’s DGSE and the Netherlands. MI6 was praised for recruiting senior informants, penetrating ruling elites in Russia, China, Iran and Turkey, playing a long game and having “a taste for dirty tricks”.
