The National Autonomous University of Mexico has ordered about 58,000 applicants to retake its entrance exam in person after unusually high scores raised suspicions of widespread cheating in the first fully remote test. The university suspended admissions, while its rector apologised and President Claudia Sheinbaum said prosecutors could investigate if a crime was committed.
