HealthUS will nearly double financial commitment to Ebola response
The U.S. State Department said on Wednesday it plans to provide an additional $242 million for Ebola efforts in eastern Democratic Republic of Congo. The new funding would nearly double Washington’s financial commitment to the response. The money is intended to help combat what was described as the second-largest Ebola outbreak in history.
