CultureBeijing designated World Capital of Architecture 2029

UNESCO announced that Beijing has been chosen as the UNESCO–UIA World Capital of Architecture for 2029. Under the theme “Back to Balance,” the city will host year-round exhibitions, conferences, educational programs and public events, as well as the UIA World Congress of Architects.
