PoliticsGAO says DOGE misstated some savings estimates or lacked supporting evidence
A report released Thursday by the US Government Accountability Office says the Department of Government Efficiency incorrectly estimated some of its savings. The watchdog also found that evidence was missing for some of the department’s claims. The findings challenge the accuracy and substantiation of portions of DOGE’s reported results.
