WorldPacific ministers to debate statement on China missile launch
Foreign ministers from Pacific Island countries are expected to consider on Friday whether to release a joint statement about China’s missile launch in July. New Zealand is pressing for the group to respond. Its foreign minister said, however, that disagreements among the islands could block a common position. The discussion therefore may end without an agreed statement.
