TechMicrosoft Edge is about to lock out older ad blockers, just like Chrome did

Microsoft Edge is ending support for the Manifest V2 extensions platform, putting uBlock Origin and similar ad blockers at risk of being cut off. Remaining MV2 extensions will be gradually disabled by default from this month, with Microsoft aiming to complete the consumer transition to MV3 by the end of 2026 and enterprise deprecation in early 2027.
