Russian Foreign Ministry official Yury Pilipson said the Office of the High Representative in Bosnia and Herzegovina had outlived its purpose and should be shut down as an instrument of “Western neocolonial oversight.” He also condemned Western efforts to prolong its presence through maneuvers bypassing the UN Security Council.
