WorldColombia records strongest earthquake in a decade, Geological Survey says
A magnitude 7.4 earthquake struck western Colombia, with its epicenter near San Jose del Palmar in Choco department at a depth of about 103 kilometers. It was felt across parts of Colombia and in Venezuela, Ecuador and Panama. Aftershocks measured 2.8 and 4.8, and 24 deaths have been reported.
