Thailand has halted the issuing of licences to possess, buy or carry firearms after a school shooting left nine people dead. Prime Minister Anutin Charnvirakul called for tighter controls and decisive penalties as the 14-year-old attacker and the grandparents he killed were cremated. Police are still investigating his motive.
