WorldFontainebleau forest fires near Paris contained as arson probe continues

Two wildfires southeast of Paris have been brought under control, but investigators are now examining how they began. Five people have been arrested on suspicion of deliberately starting the blazes, including a volunteer firefighter. Prosecutors say a second suspect acknowledged accidentally causing one fire by discarding a cigarette. The investigation therefore includes both alleged intentional acts and an admitted accidental ignition.
