WorldEurope hit by wildfires and severe drought

Wildfires and falling water levels have affected parts of Europe during July and August. Hundreds of homes were destroyed, while residents were evacuated as firefighters across the continent worked to contain the flames. Severe drought has also reduced water levels in reservoirs and rivers. The conditions are putting communities and water supplies under pressure across the region.
