PoliticsEU sanctions VK and Max messenger

The European Union has imposed sanctions on VK. The EU said the measure was taken because VK is the parent company of Communication Platform LLC. That company developed the national Max messenger. The sanctions therefore target VK in connection with its ownership of the developer behind the messaging service.
