WorldMacron: Ukraine ordered 16 Rafale jets and new-generation air defence systems

French President Emmanuel Macron says Ukraine has ordered 16 Rafale fighter jets and an initial batch of new-generation SAMP/T surface-to-air defence batteries. Kyiv has also received licences to produce several capabilities, including the Scalp cruise missile. Macron made the announcement after a Paris meeting involving more than 20 leaders of the “Coalition of the Willing”. The meeting focused on support for Ukraine.
