TechEU plans seven €10bn AI gigafactories to compete with US and China

The European Commission says the EU will fund seven AI gigafactories with €10 billion and seek at least €20 billion in private investment. The facilities will combine advanced processors, software, cloud technology, high-speed connectivity and data centers as the bloc works to narrow its technology gap with the US and China.
