WorldEurope to hold Tuesday meeting over Ceuta migration surge
Spain has put up a 500-metre sea barrier between its North African enclave of Ceuta and neighbouring Morocco. The move follows an attempt earlier this week by tens of thousands of migrants to breach the border, in which at least 67 people died. Most of those who crossed soon returned to Morocco, but the episode has revived debate over immigration across Europe and beyond. The EU is scheduled to convene an emergency video meeting on Tuesday.
