WorldEU agrees to send border aid to Spain after Ceuta talks

EU interior ministers agreed to provide Spain with emergency aid to strengthen border security in Ceuta. They called for continued action against migrant-smuggling networks, stronger returns and EU borders, while Spain’s interior minister insisted the incursion had not compromised the Schengen Area. About 60,000 people have returned to Morocco and 2,500 remain in Ceuta.
