World'Swift response' — Why EU ministers are backing Spain's handling of Ceuta border crisis

Spain says the arrival of tens of thousands of irregular migrants across the border into the Spanish exclave of Ceuta did not compromise Europe's visa-free Schengen area. Following emergency talks, the EU's 27 home affairs ministers backed Madrid's response to the incident. The Spanish government says 70 thousand migrants have returned across the border to Morocco. Around two thousand people remain in the exclave, according to the government.
